Ballard Hardware, as they had been known since the 1950s, came to us looking to make a big change they had been putting off for far too long. For over 60 years, Ballard Hardware supplied marine, manufacturing and industrial customers with the inventory, expertise and personal service to keep their operations running smoothly. However, the "hardware" name and outdated logo design reflected a small corner store image that they had outgrown decades before.
Ballard Industrial speaks to a broader market, yet retains their commitment to personal service and problem-solving. We wanted to honor the history of their brand, but simplify it with a bold, contemporary reboot. The new logo design has a brought renewed energy that will help Ballard Industrial lead the way for another 60+ years.
